As a Trade Compliance Analyst, you will be responsible for drafting, submitting, and managing export licenses, Technical Assistance Agreements (TAA), commodity jurisdiction and classification requests. Should have a good understanding of imports and exports, especially as they affect a defense manufacturer.
You will interpret US trade regulations, including ITAR (International Traffic in Arms), EAR, OFAC, ATF, and Customs. Provide guidance to internal customers, including program managers, supply chain, information system, and senior leadership, to make sure work processes comply with US trade regulations.
Review and approve international shipments, foreign travel, incoming foreign visitors, release of technology and technical data, to ensure compliance with applicable U.S. regulations and company policies and procedures. Provide ad hoc export training.
Bachelor’s Degree in International Relations, Business Administration, Finance, Accounting or Engineering plus at least eight years of similar experience and practical knowledge. Should know U.S. trade regulations (ITAR, EAR, OFAC and Customs) with demonstrated prior experience working in a trade compliance role. Familiarity with D-Trade, SNAP-R and ACE, international shipping, foreign military sales, and Customs procedures, use of license exemption and exceptions. Export classification of goods, services and information and product database management.
Proficiency in EASE export administration and licensing software. Knowledgeable in avionics and Electronic Warfare. Knowledgeable in Foreign Military Sales (FMS). Exhibit a high attention to detail, integrity and discretion.
